Your Questions About How To Explanations

Donna asks…Can find values for a, b & c but don't understand how to find least value - explanations welcome - thanks?Find values of a, b & c, so that 2x squared + 10x + 15 =a(x + b) squared + c for all values of x and hence find the least value of this.poptropicahelp answers:2x^2+10x+15=
2[x^2+5x]+15=
2[(x+2.5)^2-6.25]+15=
2(x+2.5)^2-12.5+15=
2(x+2.5)^2+2.5

a=2
b=2.5
c=2.5

I won't explain the calculations above because you said you could do it.
