Paul asks…How can I detect whether a substance is solid or liquid?I was asked to do an experiment to find the optimum temperature at which actinidin denatures by looking at what temperature jelly sets.
I'd like to know a quantitative/accurate method on how I can determine the actual consistency of the jelly to see if its set.
Can I use a colorimeter for this? If so, how? A marble-drop method wouldnt be so accurate? And any better suggestions?poptropicahelp answers:This is gonna sound terribly
